Asap: Fix My Css Nav Menu

Hi, I have tried to recreate a navigation menu on 1 part of my site (powered by SocialEngine), onto another part of my site, (powered by Invision Power Board forums). Ive got the basic links and style working, however it appears that Im having a problem getting the css to work. Specifically, it looks identical before hovering over the links with the mouse.
