I need to design a site for an industrial goods buying/selling site. I need a simple design, something in the lines of the Google homepage i.e. white background with a big search box and 2-3 images on the webpage to depict what the site is all about. Please read some details about the website:
This website will be a marketplace for both buyers and sellers of old items and will deal with old machinery as well as store items. For example, when an industry increases its plant capacity, it requires bigger equipments/ machines. Then it replaces its old machines (of less capacity) with new machines. Often these new machines (of bigger capacity) are second-hand. This website will, therefore, invite seller and buyers of second-hand machines/ equipments. We need to put in complete technical details of second-hand machines of buyers and sellers.
Similarly, with the change of old machines, some store items such as ball bearings, belts, bolts etc also become un-useable and they need a sell-off. Although they are completely new and unused items but they do not fetch full value. They are sold at a discounted rate. This website will show them also.
Thus there are two items : old plant and machinery and old store items. The seller can offer both these items in working and non-working condition. Search can be made sector-wise (e.g., sugar, textile, pharma etc.) and location-wise (e.g., Sydney, New York etc). Homepage should be of white base and very simple with no picture except logo. The homepage should also show the old equipments offered/ sought by the parties. Again, the homepage should be very simple, no picture and should focus only the core business/objective of the website.
The payment will be made through PayPal only after the completing of the job. Those who do not want this can stay away.
