Hey everyone. I am looking for someone to create a desktop application using Adobe Flex 3.0 that will allow me to do the following:
• Log into a website (using mx:HTML) via my MySQL database. As in, a textbox with a “user name” and a second textbox with “password”. Then a “Login” button. When the user pushes the “Login” button, it goes out to the mySQL server and checks the username and password provided. If its correct then it will load a website (ex: http://www.example.com/flexpage.asp) into the <mx:HTML mainHTMLBox layout.
• After loging into the website. It will need to populate a combobox list of all items inside the MySQL database. When the user picks an item from the combobox list it will reload the <mx:HTML page (mainHTMLBox) with that image (ex: http://www.example.com/flexpage.asp?item1).
• When the user clicks on that image on the website, it needs to then enable the “Print” button on the flex window and load that picture into another <mx:HTML box (offScreenHTMLBox) thats out of view so users can not see it. The “print” button will print that page that loads up into the second <mx:HTML (offScreenHTMLBox) box.
I have attached a drawing to demonstrate what I talked about above in hopes it will clean anything confusions up.
I have also attached the code for the print button as I already have that part of the code working just fine. And also the forms layout.
